It uses NFC — the same technology as Apple Pay, Google Pay and building access cards. No charging, no setup. The device sits on the counter, the customer taps their phone, and the punch lands instantly on their card in Apple or Google Wallet.

Not at the counter. On the first tap a page opens on the phone, the customer continues with Google or Apple in one tap and the card lands in their wallet; every visit after that is just the tap. Notifications come through the wallet. A customer who wants all their cards, the campaigns and nearby offers downloads the Punchla app in their own time.

Most programs make work at the counter: ask for a number, get an app installed, fill in a form; then nobody uses it. With Punchla the customer just touches their phone, every visit records itself, and you call them back whenever you want with a free notification.

Open your account, design your card, print the A6 counter card from the platform: your customer scans the QR and takes the card into their wallet, staff punch from the platform or the app. When your device arrives you pair it with one tap — same card, same customers, nothing starts over. The 30-day trial starts the day you open the account. The trial needs no card; you choose your plan on day 30.

None. On a monthly plan you cancel any time; on the annual plan the price is fixed for 12 months. Cancel within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full; after 30 days there is no refund. Punchla Tap is a free welcome gift, so you never send it back. GDPR: only the phone number and the visit time, with explicit consent, hosted in the EU (Germany).

Yes. Names, visits, spend, streaks, tags and notes are yours; download the CSV in one click. Phone numbers and e-mails stay masked under GDPR — you reach customers through Punchla anyway, with a notification.

For as long as you subscribe, a faulty device is on us: a new one ships free, shipping on us. If it is lost, stolen or broken, write to us. The counter never stops in any of these: the customer shows the QR on their card, staff scan it, the punch lands on the same card; cards and customers live in your account, not on the device.
